Yes Amazon Prime Day is good for everything, it is for Instant Pots. (Heard of them?)
And air fryers, Vitamixes and sous vide. Basically, if you’re looking to fork out for a high-tech kitchen appliance, Prime Day is a good (albeit overwhelming and aggressive) time to do so, with deals on gimmicks like blenders and air fryers; pots and pans; and smaller tools like food scales. And even today, after the Monday and Tuesday of 2019 designated Prime Days are over, there are still items on sale, proving that any concept of fixed prices has been a long-held fantasy and that we are all just pissed off. retail manipulation topics. !
It is important to avoid the common trap of buying a gadget just because it exists. (Are you really going to use a Ninja Foodi Pressure Cooker / Steamer / Airfryer? Do you bake bread often enough to justify a whole machine? What will happen when the Instant Pot Honeymoon Glow fades?) Also, not all products work very well! Read Amazon reviews, or better yet, watch and read expert reviews to see what chefs and other professionals really think. Because Amazon is full of kitchen products from brands you recognize, like Breville and the aforementioned Vitamix, and a lot you won’t, including brands like New House Kitchen which are actually ‘private labels’, that is. that is, brands created by Amazon.
Ultimately, whatever product you think is the best, it’s probably buried somewhere in the retail jungle that is Amazon. If you are still shopping (and if you are a Prime Day member – here’s how to do it), here’s a selection of what’s still on sale:
Gadgets and Appliances
Pots, Pans and Bakeware
Small kitchen utensils
