Weighing your options on kitchen scales? No need – we found a winner. Whether you’re prepping meals or need precise recipe measurements, Etekcity’s top-rated kitchen weight scale has your back – and it’s just $10 at Walmart!

If you already use one, you know how essential a scale is for a well-stocked kitchen. But if you’re not sure why you’d need another gadget, read on.

A good kitchen scale is more accurate than a measuring cup, and that’s crucial for delicate recipes like chocolate soufflé. There are even serious coffee drinkers who measure their grounds by weight. I’m just saying.

Using a scale means fewer measuring cups and spoons to clean, and less work is always a good idea. Kitchen scales are great for portion control – weighing your food can help control calories. They also instantly convert measurements (from ounces to grams, for example), which is great when trying a recipe from another country.

Says a fan, “Perfect for weighing my food portions so I can track my food intake. I love that it switches between measurements like ounces or grams. It’s compact and attractive and looks great sitting on the counter. I use it every day!”

Have you ever been convinced? Good, then add this kitchen helper to the cart stat.

Psst: Walmart+ members get free shipping (on everything, there’s no minimum order!) and unlimited free shipping on groceries, of course. Not a member yet? Sign up for your 15-day free trial here, and a quick three-question survey will add two more weeks for a solid 30 days of use. (And by the way, those without Walmart+ still get free shipping on orders of $35 or more.)

This one ticks all the boxes. It is compact and slim and fits easily in a drawer or cabinet. And the size is right – small enough not to dominate a counter if you choose to leave it out, but large enough to hold a plate.

It measures in pounds, ounces, grams, milliliters and fluid ounces. The stainless steel surface looks cool and cleans easily. Simply press the “tare” button to deduct the weight of any bowl or plate you choose to use. And the auto-off feature means you don’t have to press a button with your fingers covered in breadcrumbs.
